The Cape and Vineyard Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CVEC) is seeking proposals to lease space on rooftops of the municipal buildings listed below to design, develop, install and own solar photovoltaic energy facilities and sell the solar power to CVEC and host municipalities, for terms of twenty years with an option for one five year renewal term.

Proposals must be received at CVEC, 23H2 White’s Path, Suite 2, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, on or before, but no later than October 27, 2017.  No exceptions will be allowed.

NOTE:  One original and ten (10) copies of each Price and Non-Price Proposal should be submitted.   NO faxed submissions will be accepted.

Sealed envelopes containing proposals shall be clearly marked “CVEC PV RFP – OCTOBER 2017” with the Proposer’s Name.  Technical and Price Proposals are to be submitted in separate sealed envelopes, marked “Non-Price Proposal” and “Price Proposal”.

All proposals submitted for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B, Section 16.

The Cape & Vineyard Electric Cooperative reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the Cooperative, the host municipalities and the general public.
