An additional answer to questions relative to the Sandwich Hollows Golf club follow:

  1. Why are there two electric meters? Answer: One is for maintenance and one is for the clubhouse. But because the installation is not BTM, the answer should be irrelevant.
  2. Can we put equipment inside the fenced area? Answer: Yes.

The Cape and Vineyard Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CVEC) is seeking proposals to lease space on rooftops of municipal buildings, or municipal land for ground mounts and solar canopies, with and without optional battery storage. There are 25 municipal facilities or lands offered. Proposals sought are for the design, development, installation and ownership of solar photovoltaic energy facilities, with or without batteries. Proposals are for the sale of the power to CVEC and host municipalities, for terms of twenty years with an option for one five year renewal term.  Proposals shall include alternate Lease Price without PPA or storage.

Addendum Number 4. Posted 11.1.19 2:28pm.   The Solar Canopy at the Harwich Community Center is to match a previously installed solar canopy: It is to be a Longspan CP-LS by RBI; 14′ high; with gutters, snow guards, and lights; galvanized steel, raised piers and trusses.

Proposals must be received at CVEC, 23H2 White’s Path, Suite 2, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, on or before, but no later than November 13, 2019 by 2:00 pm.  No exceptions will be allowed.

NOTE:  One original, fourteen (14) copies and one electronic copy of each Non-Price Proposal should be submitted.  One original, fourteen (14) copies and one electronic copy of each Price Proposal should be submitted  NO faxed submissions will be accepted.

Sealed envelopes containing proposals shall be clearly marked “CVEC PV/STORAGE R5 RFP-NOVEMBER 2019” with the Proposer’s Name.  Technical and Price Proposals are to be submitted in separate sealed envelopes, marked “Non-Price Proposal” and “Price Proposal”.

All proposals submitted for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 164, Section 137.
